omlock.

sit before you scroll.

each morning, your phone is locked. it stays locked until you meditate. no apps, no feeds, no chat — just a breath circle and the front camera watching for closed eyes. finish the session, the lock lifts. the next morning, it's back.

waiting list

the mechanic

01

arms before you wake.

three hours before your wake time, every app on the phone is shielded — the system blocks them, not the app. nothing to opt out of.

02

eyes closed, timer runs.

arkit watches your face. timer accrues only while your eyes are closed. peeking pauses, no penalty. open the door, the room stays.

03

finish, the lock lifts.

complete the session — five minutes, ten, twenty, you choose — and the shield drops for the day. tomorrow, it's back.

04

a streak that means it.

one square per day on a calendar. miss a day, miss a square. no protection, no freezes. just the count.

what omlock is and isn't

it is

  • a hard friction layer
  • five minutes before anything else
  • a daily yes-or-no
  • private, on-device

it isn't

  • a wellness app
  • a guided meditation library
  • a journey, a practice, a presence
  • a thing that nags you

questions

does it really lock my phone?
yes. it uses apple's screen time framework — the same system that powers parental controls. apps are shielded at the os level. you can't quit omlock to escape it.
what about messages? phone calls?
apple keeps a small list of always-allowed apps — phone, messages, facetime, maps, find my, settings, emergency sos. these stay open. nothing else does.
how does it know my eyes are closed?
arkit's face tracking, on-device. the front camera stays on during the session. nothing leaves the phone. no video is uploaded anywhere.
what if i can't sit for ten minutes?
pick five. pick three. the duration is yours. the only rule is you finish what you set.
what does it cost?
that's still being decided. the waiting list will hear before anyone else.
android?
no. the lock requires apple's screen time api. there isn't an equivalent on android.
